2023年6月、IPA（International Play Association・子どもの遊ぶ権利のための国際協会）の総会にて、国連「遊びの日」の提唱を支持することを満場一致で決議しました。 この野望を推進するため、IPAは、世界的な組織や遊びの専門家、そして最も重要なこととして、子どもたち自身による献身的なネットワークの一員となり、国連加盟国に対し、国連遊びの日の決議を支持するよう呼びかけました。 私たちは、2024年3月25日（月）、遊ぶことの大切さを国際的に認知する日の国連決議の採択を発表できることを誇りに思います。 「国連遊びの日」は、2024年6月11日に開催され、以後毎年開催されます。 企業やNGOセクターの枠を超えてこの活動に取り組んでくださったすべてのパートナー、そして特に調査やワークショップに協力してくれた世界中の子どもたちや若者たち、そして子どもたちからの行動への呼びかけに、特別な感謝を捧げます。 私たちは、今後さらに多くの情報をメンバーと共有できることを楽しみにしています！

In June 2024 at our Triennial Conference, IPA World members voted unanimously to support advocacy for a UN Day of Play. To drive this ambition forward, the International Play Association (IPA World) was part of a dedicated network of global organisations, play experts and, most importantly, children & youth themselves, who called on UN member states to support the resolution for an International Day of Play. We are proud to announce that on Monday 25 March 2024, the UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution to hold an annual international awareness day for play. The INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PLAY will be held on JUNE 11, 2024 and annually thereafter. A special thanks to all the partners who worked on this from across the corporate and NGO sector and especially the children and young people across the world who contributed to surveys and workshops and the call to action from Children.
